Even during the idle period, large ship cranes still need maintenance, such as wiping off dust, checking if the bearings are damaged, and whether the motor can be used, etc. The steel wire rope needs to be coated with some lubricating oil to keep it lubricated at all times. Otherwise, if the cracked steel wire rope is used for too long, it is more likely to break when used again. In order to keep the large ship crane in good performance, To keep the product in good condition, we need to take good care of it. Now let's explain the maintenance methods:
During the idle period, ensure that the ship crane is stored in a dry and well-ventilated place and kept dry.
2. Apply oil to the steel wire rope of the motor to maintain lubrication and prevent deep dry burrs from appearing on the steel wire rope.
3. Wipe the steel pipes of the ship crane with a dry cloth to keep them clean. Try not to let large ship cranes be covered with dust. If dust gets into the bearings, it will increase dirt and prevent the bearings from rotating well.
Hydraulic oil is widely used in hydraulic equipment such as ship cranes and construction machinery, playing a role in transmitting and converting energy. At the same time, it also serves to lubricate the components of the equipment, prevent corrosion, cool and flush. The hydraulic oil for ship cranes should have the following characteristics:
1. Good lubricity (anti-wear property
The hydraulic system has a large number of moving parts that need lubrication to prevent wear on the relative moving surfaces. Especially for hydraulic equipment with relatively high pressure, the anti-wear property of the hydraulic oil is required to be much higher.
2. Appropriate viscosity and good viscosity-temperature characteristics
Viscosity is the first factor to be considered when choosing hydraulic oil. Under the same working pressure, if the viscosity is too high, the movement resistance of hydraulic components will increase, and the pressure drop and power loss in the pipeline will also increase. If the viscosity is too low, it will increase the volumetric loss of the oil drum. The internal leakage of the component increases, causing the oil film of the sliding parts to become thinner, the supporting capacity to decline, and there is atomization, which overflows from the exhaust port.
3. Good rust prevention and corrosion resistance
During the operation of ship cranes, hydraulic oil inevitably comes into contact with moisture, air and acidic substances produced by oxidation, which can cause rust and corrosion to metals and affect the normal operation of gas-liquid booster products. Generally, hydraulic oil should be replaced every six months.
4. Good anti-foaming property and air release property
In the air-oil conversion tank, due to the air bubbles mixed in the oil circulating with the oil, not only will the system pressure drop and the lubrication conditions deteriorate, but also abnormal noise and vibration will be generated. In addition, the air bubbles increase the contact area between the oil and the air, accelerating the oxidation of the oil. Therefore, the hydraulic oil is required to have good anti-foaming and air release properties.
5. Good shear stability
When hydraulic oil passes through oil drums, valve throttling ports and gaps, it undergoes intense shearing action, causing some large-molecule polymers in the oil, such as tackifiers, to break down into smaller molecules and reduce viscosity. When the viscosity drops to a certain extent, the oil becomes unusable. Therefore, it is required to have good shear resistance.
6. Good resistance to chemical reactions
Hydraulic oil can also undergo oxidation during the operation of ship cranes. The acidic substances produced after the oxidation of hydraulic oil will increase its corrosiveness to metals, and the oil sludge sediment generated will clog filters and tiny gaps, causing the gas-hydraulic booster cylinder to malfunction. Therefore, it is required to have good chemical reaction resistance.
What should I do if the boom of a large ship crane automatically sinks? The automatic sinking of the boom, also known as automatic retraction or retracting, is caused by two reasons: one is that the balance valve is not tightly closed, resulting in internal leakage; the other is that the oil seal of the hydraulic cylinder piston is excessively worn and not tightly closed, causing internal leakage. When troubleshooting, the balance valve should be checked first. The judgment method is to extend the boom outward, position the manual directional control valve in the middle position, and turn off the engine. Open the hose joint near the balance valve between the balance valve and the directional control valve. If the hydraulic oil keeps flowing out from the hose joint as the boom descents, the fault of the boom automatically retracting is caused by internal leakage due to the balance valve not being tightly closed. The balance valve should be disassembled and inspected. If no hydraulic oil flows out from the hose joint as the boom descends and the boom automatically retract, it is due to the wear of the hydraulic cylinder piston oil seal, which does not seal tightly and causes internal leakage. The hydraulic cylinder piston oil seal should be disassembled and replaced. After this operation, the fault phenomenon disappeared.
How to solve the problem of abnormal noise when the turntable of a large ship crane swings back and forth
If the turntable of a large ship crane swings back and forth, it will be more likely to cause danger. Therefore, to prevent the occurrence of back-and-forth swinging, once such a fault occurs, timely adjustment and repair should be carried out to avoid the dangerous phenomenon caused by the back-and-forth swinging of the turntable. So, if a large ship crane shows a back-and-forth swinging phenomenon, how exactly should it be adjusted?
If the swinging phenomenon is caused by excessive displacement distance of the outer ring, we need to adjust the gear side clearance of the slewing bearing and the reducer.
2. Adjust the basic boom of the large ship crane to fix it and reduce the swing amplitude.
When adjusting large ship cranes, it is important to ensure that the swing amplitude does not exceed 4MM, which can reduce the occurrence of dangers.
Therefore, by adjusting the swing amplitude of the turntable of the large ship crane in the above-mentioned way, the danger caused by excessive swing amplitude of the turntable to the large ship crane can be reduced.
