Everyone knows that keeping a clean aerial work platform not only shapes a professional image but also makes the maintenance of your aerial work platform easier to manage.
Everyone knows that keeping a clean aerial work platform not only shapes a professional image but also makes the maintenance of your aerial work platform easier to manage. Aerial work platforms vary greatly due to different brands and models. However, no matter what kind of equipment you have, regular inspection and cleaning will ensure that the machine works safely and effectively. We have all kinds of components for aerial work platform equipment, as well as the things that need to be inspected and cleaned on each component.
First, the platform of the aerial work platform
1. Check whether the locking bolts are tightened.
2. Check whether the foot switch is working properly.
3. The switch should always be in the neutral position.
4. Check whether the signs, labels and instructions are easy to read.
5. Ensure that the safety pins, toe boards, railings and protective devices are in good condition and functioning properly.
Second, lift several sections of the boom of the aerial work platform
1. Inspect the arm and main arm assemblies to ensure that the pins and pivot points are in good condition and that the connection and locking are ensured. Also make sure there are no signs of bending, squeezing or wear on them.
2. Check if there are any signs of dryness at the lubrication points; Dry or dirty lubrication parts may indicate that the lubrication points have not been used for some time.
3. Check whether the control valve is leaking, the hose is loose, the wire is worn or the insulation is damaged, and ensure that the bracket is in place and tightened.
Third,frame of Aerial Work Platform
1.Check the condition of the tires on the four-wheel assembly and inflate them in time.
2. Check the drive wheel hubs and brakes for any signs of brake fluid leakage, dirt clumping, lack of lubrication, or missing or loose lug nuts.
3. Check whether the steering cylinder, tie rod and steering connecting rod are worn, and whether the liquid level and lubrication are sufficient.
Fourth, lift the turntable of the aerial work platform
1. Inspect the transmission system components: pumps, drive motors, braking and control valves, connecting hydraulic hoses and joints, to see if there are any visible signs of hydraulic fluid leakage at the connection points.
2. Check whether the pump or control valve has low pressure under the load caused by wear.
3. Check whether the pressure plate has cracks due to overload. Signs of cracks should trigger a more detailed inspection of all lifting components to look for signs of strain, such as leakage, bending or scratches on mechanical interlocking devices or cable fatigue.
4. Check the drive and support bolts of the turntable.
5. Check whether the slewing bearing and gear mechanism are well lubricated and whether the rotation is smooth. Hesitation may indicate wear or damage to the bearing.
Fifth, engine Components of Aerial Work Platforms
1.Check the engine filter.
2. Check the battery level.
3. Check the oil level.
4. Check for any leakage or loose brackets in the muffler and exhaust system.
5. Check whether the hydraulic pump, the housing of the medium-pressure filter and the rotary joint are leaking or damaged.
6. Check the horizontal cut-off limit switch to ensure it is free of dust and that the arm is straight, clean and freely movable (if applicable).
7. Check whether there is any leakage, wear or damage to the hose and wires.
8. Check whether the door and latch are lubricated and operating normally.
Sixth, enhance the accessories of the aerial work platform
1. Check if there is any wear or damage to the manual descent, such as leakage, dents or cylinder scratches.
2. Check whether the return oil filter is clogged or leaking.
3. Inspect the low-pressure gas tank. If it is suitable, ensure that it is securely fixed and all fixtures and bolts are tightened.
4. Remove the cover, check the oil level and replace the cover, and check the hydraulic level in the storage tank.
5. Check the magnetic plug to see if there are any iron filings indicating metal scratches in the system. Inspection should be carried out when the system is shut down, the storage temperature is reduced, and oil cooling (if applicable) is applied.
6. Check the ground control switches to ensure that all operation labels and warning signs are clearly visible.
