Before starting work every day, the operators of aerial work platforms should carefully inspect the equipment. It is recommended that every operator recheck the machine equipment before using it, even if it is a machine that has been inspected by another operator and is currently in use. Daily inspection is a reliable way of checking and is also used for inspecting equipment after regular maintenance and repair. In addition to daily inspections, daily checks should also include the following inspection items:
1) Neatness
Inspect all kinds of platforms. There must be no residual hydraulic oil or other oil stains on the surface, and no other debris is allowed. Ensure they are clean and tidy.
2) Label
Keep all warning information labels and operation instruction labels clean and intact. When surface treatments such as painting or sandblasting are required, the label should be covered in an appropriate way for protection.
3) Operation and Maintenance manual
Make sure that a copy of this manual or other safety manuals, or their photocopies, are kept in the random information box installed on the operation console for reference in case of emergency use.
4) Machine operation
Make sure that the operating machinery and maintenance tools of the aerial work platform are in good condition to understand the status of the machine and prevent it from being used in an unsafe state.
5) Fill the diesel tank with fuel before starting the machine every day
To avoid safety accidents, do not use faulty aerial work platforms for operations unless all faults have been eliminated. It is very dangerous to use machines that have not been troubleshooting during the operation process. To prevent accidents, the machine must be turned off during routine inspections.
6) Check the foot safety switches on the work platform to ensure they can operate normally.
When starting the aerial work platform, the foot switch must be released.
When operating, you must first step on the foot safety switch, and then select the action button or handle.
7) Check the braking performance of the aerial work platform. When the machine is traveling on a slope no greater than that indicated on the nameplate or in the performance parameter table of the manual, the braking should be reliable and there should be no rolling back. For new machines, or those that have just undergone major overhauls, or those whose hydraulic oil has just been replaced, the hydraulic oil level in the tank should be checked after operating the entire system for more than two cycles. If it is insufficient, the hydraulic oil should be replenished to an appropriate level.
8) Ensure that all parts of various aerial work platforms that require lubrication and maintenance have been maintained.
