During the operation of cranes, unexpected situations may occur due to improper personal operation or external factors. When encountering such unexpected situations, what should we do?
1. The rope is locked due to tilting during hoisting:
When the crane automatically locks the rope, the machine should be stopped immediately. Then, turn the conversion switch on the electrical box to the lower end of the platform. Press the up button to lift the lower end of the suspended platform to the horizontal position. After the lock automatically returns to the normal state, lower the suspended platform to the ground, and check and adjust the gap of the electromagnetic brakes at both ends to meet the requirements. Or check the speed difference between the two ends of the machine. If the difference is obvious, the motor should be replaced.
2. When the working wire rope breaks:
When the working steel wire rope at one end of the suspended platform breaks, the construction personnel inside the suspended platform should stay in a stable area and are strictly prohibited from running or jumping inside the suspended platform. They should handle the situation according to the emergency measures for when their respective steel wire ropes are stuck in the hoist.
3. Sudden power outage during construction
When there is a sudden power outage during construction, the power switch of the electrical box should be immediately cut off to prevent accidents during power restoration. After the power is restored, the power switch should be closed again. Work can resume only after it is checked and found to be normal. If it is necessary to return to the ground after a power outage, the manual descent handles of both ends of the hoists should be lifted simultaneously to lower the suspended platform to the ground.
The motor bearing of a crane is an important component that supports the rotating parts, reduces the friction coefficient during movement, and ensures its rotational accuracy. Therefore, we should pay attention to the daily maintenance of the crane bearing.
1. Ensure the lubrication and cleanliness of the crane bearings. Generally, grease is applied to the bearings to prevent rusting. This makes it easy for dust to accumulate, and dirt and grime can easily accumulate in the gaps of the bearings.
2. The sealing performance of the crane bearings must be well done. This is mainly to prevent dust, moisture and impurities from entering the bearings, and also to stop the loss of lubricants. Good sealing can ensure the normal operation of the crane, reduce noise and extend the service life of related parts.
3. Reduce the impact of harsh working environments on crane bearings. Environments with excessive dust or high humidity can cause damage to crane bearings.
4. The lubricating oil used to lubricate the crane bearings should be free of impurities. If impurities are mixed into the lubricating oil, it will cause the bearings to become dry and affect normal operation.
Disassembly requirements for cranes:
1. Install the lifting tools, lift and remove the slewing bearing. To disassemble the slewing bearing, tools should be used, such as making lifting rings with three screw rods, installing the threads of the lifting rings into the lifting threads of the slewing bearing, and lifting the rotary table at three equal positions with steel wire ropes or chains.
2. Secure the inner ring of the slewing bearing with fixing bolts.
3. Use a crane to lift the slewing bearing of the crane, and make marks on the frame and the inner ring of the slewing bearing. To correctly rotate the soft area of the inner circle, it is necessary to align the marking accurately.
4. Clean the mating surfaces of the frame and the slewing bearing, and apply lubricating oil on the mating surfaces.
